REGIONAL MANAGER - REVENUE CYCLE – REIMBURSEMENT – PHYSICIAN OFFICE – HOSPITAL – ASC - VERNON HILLS, ILLINOIS

Lifeline Vascular Access, a nationwide network of vascular access centers, invites you to contact us in regard to a position as a Regional Manager, Revenue Operations.

In this position, the Regional Manager, Revenue Operations will manage, monitor and lead revenue operations for an assigned region of vascular access centers. The Regional Manager, Revenue Operations will supervise a team of reimbursement specialists and report to the Vice President of Reimbursement for delivering revenue budget goals. In this role, the Regional Manager, Revenue Operations will play a strong customer-facing role both in a relationship-building and issue resolution capacity. For this reason, effective communication and coordination with the reimbursement team as well as the regional operations team will be a must.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direction and management oversight to reimbursement team. This includes but is not limited to hiring, teammate training and development, and performance management.
  • Utilizes quality and productivity metrics and tools to continually improve the performance of staff. Works with the Vice President of Reimbursement in developing, updating and implementing metrics and tools.
  • Provides various reports and data regarding managed care, accounts receivable and accounts receivable days, payor analyses, and reimbursement performance metrics to Vice President of Reimbursement and the regional operations team.
  • Develops, implements, and monitors operational performance goals for reimbursement-related activity in assigned region. This includes the establishment and updating of work process flows as well as ensuring appropriate work allocation to staff.
  • Responsible for development and maintenance of processes used for producing standard and special ad-hoc reports.
  • Responds to inquiries from customers and proactively works with customers to resolve any anticipated revenue operations issues.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all patient, personnel and company policy information in accordance with HIPPA regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in or equivalent work experience required
  • Five to seven years of revenue cycle operations management experience including oversight of reimbursement-related activities
  • A minimum of four years in a supervisory role with demonstrated ability to lead and direct the work activities of others
  • Demonstrated ability to improve revenue operations and results in a medical billing and reimbursement environment – strong working knowledge of medical billing required
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with internal and external clients
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and streamline work flow, and develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Proficient computer skills
